Hello,

I was lucky enough to be gifted an unused copy of CS3.  I've installed installer 1 and 2 disks, and seem to have the complete program.  I'd like to install the "resources and extras" but these don't automatically install.  What is the best procedure for making use of resources on these disks?

Thank you for any help!

I would not worry about the resources and extras right now. Learn to use the software then when you are ready and understand what can be done with them copy them to your hard drive. Thats right you just copy them.

Buko, thanks.

I've had one semester of "light" training in CS (PS, ID, and Illustrator),

and did quite a bit of work in the iD and PS free download 30-day trials

(cycling over 3 different computers so have added another 90 days that way),

so have used these. I've also produced several products for non profits in

PS and ID. That was both on on programs already installed and on the

downloaded version, which seemed to have more "resources" than I found when

I installed this version on my own system. So I'm just trying to get back

to where I was and move on.

The friend who gave me this program handed me two Adobe CD cases. Each one

contains Installer disks 1 & 2, workshop training video disk, and 2

resources and extras disks.

The case which has the serial numbers (creative suites premium) has the same

disks listed above but ALSO the disks are marked "educator." I wrote to the

friend to ask if these are different, but he's out hiking for the next

week. Since I've only worked on downloaded individual programs and on CS3

already installed, I'm not familiar with what the product looks like -- does

it come in two cases or one?
