Is Flash dead?  Why can't I play a simple SWF file anywhere??

It used to be automatically associated with the Flash Player Plugin.  Now, it's not associated with anything!  Regardless of how many times I download and install the new Flash Player.

For me that's embarassing, since I am on of your monthly CS6 subscribers.
