Lightroom no Discussion Page?

I clicked on the LR icon from Adobe Community link and I get a page with panels for LR FAQ, Getting Started with LR, Lightroom Information,  and Trending Questions.  I clicked on More at bottom but it just brings up more trending questions.  I could not figure out how to get to the Discussion Page.  I hate this format with all the starter info, I want to view the Discussion Page, but how?

Is the the Forum format of the Future, or am I just missing some secret handshake here?  If I am confused, what about a newbie?

If you had - earlier (last year), when the Discussions tab was still visible - made it your default view, then you will still see the Discussions view by default.

I don't use Lightroom, so a few minutes ago was the first time I can remember ever going to that forum

Also, a carryover from an old work policy that I also set at home, I have IE clear my cookies and browsing history at every exit... which means I have to log in each time I visit any Adobe forum

Anyway... not really my concern... as I said, I don't use Lightroom or visit that forum... I was just checking and posting my results

Earlier today, when I tried to follow your links, I received the following message:

Jive.jpg

And I thought that this was an Adobe site! (the ling for contact is to a lightroom address).

In any case, as I have said many times, the name Trending Questions would be hardly understood by many native Spanish speakers; and I suspect that the situation is similar in other languages.

This is exactly what I see, and it is not the Discussion page.  Please re-read the OP.  All it has is Trending Questions, and other crap, not the traditional Discussion page other forums use.

I do not use Lightroom so do not know it this is the way it has been traditionally, or a new "feature".

Hope this format is not the "new look" for all users as it is horrible for those trying to answer questions.

Ah, Curt, but the present format is for newcomers, not for those trying to answer questions. This has been formally stated several times, and may be one of the reasons for the increased number of posts in the wrong forums.

It seems clear then that the new Adobe policy is to let the newcomers answer the questions.  The old timers are just to change adverse to be useful without complaining.

This is not a new policy.  Anybody can answer the questions even if their knowledge is limited as long as there is no spam involved or slandering anybody especially of our hardworking and dedicated MVPs .

I do not understand why they are hiding the Discussion pages, but you can always go there by appending '?view=discussions': http://forums.adobe.com/community/lightroom?view=discussions
