[Locked] Centering an oversized web page in dreamweaver

for a web programming class
an extra credit challenge is to fix all found issues with some example web pages in dreamweaver
in the first example page the most obvious problem is that the page has oversized dimensions
which are 1680 x 1050
so the main issue that it creates is a problem with the horizontal centering
I'm looking for a coding/ script solution in dreamweaver that will automatically center the page when uploaded to the web
I've attempted several web tutorials and so forth but have yet to come across something that actually works for me
I am aware that this could be due to incorrect placement within the script
so I have decided to include the a basic version of the example script.
I appreciate any solutions that can be given...

Because I'm not at your beck and call. Find your own way there the way (most) everyone else does. If you do, I wil have helped you more.

While may or may not make you feel good to vent on new people coming in. It takes less effort, doesn't get your juice fllowing to simply do as john did. forvide the link or provide a way for a new person to get there.

Your not at anyone's Beck and call. You can go jump off a Mountain top if that's what you want to do. But it might make you feel better in the long run.

Why on Earth would I go searching for forums I never visit instead of insisting people do their own legwork?

While this particualr forum is for the discussions of problems of the Forum software.

The aim for any forum (which is user to user) is to help people find answers to their question.

If they stray into the wrong Forum. Then its our duty to point them in the right direction.

Where in the above quote did I say to answer the question. I said point them in the right direction.

Think back to the first time you ever went into a Forum or newsgroup. Back when you was a Greenhorn/newbie. (oh that's right you been on the net so long, you've never been a newbie.) Did you pick a group you thought was correct one. Did someone help you, or did you get your whatever chewed out. Did getting the help make you feel as though people try to help. The th chewing out make you feel like slinking a wayand never returning for support from that software company's Forum/newsgroup.

I ventured acidentally in the Office PC group on the msnews server years ago. and I received mostly geting my what-you may-call-it chewed out. But then I go almost as many suggestions as to what groups I should go to. I chalked up the chewed variety to the PC Macintosh war going on at the time. But appreciated the one that pointed be to right place.

At that point, I decided that if someone gets lost I will try to find out where for them to go, and send them to correct area.

Pointing in the right direction is all I've done here. "You're in the wrong forum, buddy! Try just a little harder next time." End of story.

It's my fault for assuming that this the adobe site, of all places would be where i needed to be to find ppl who knew what I wanted and either

had a helpful suggestion or at the very least could point me in the right direction

Well T, not sure which educational system you belong to, but what ever it is you are certainly not what one would consider a shining example. First you can't click on a link to the forum you actually want, then in the first reply you get Post #1 where you get the answer you need, you don't even pay attention to the answer given or to the link to the place you need to go.

How do you get a passing grade in your classes?

You're "a student"??!! What kind of a [deleted] school do you go to that doesn't let you absorb, at least by osmosis, the grasp of a directory or the breadcrumbs on each page of these forums?

And you've picked fights with just about everyone that has tried to help you, including in the appropriate Dreamweaver forum, to the point of having the abuse removed from your posts by forum moderators.

The way I see it, if you find a man that doesn't know how to fish, he's probably got a short life expectancy anyhow.
