Win7 and IE10 - no problems

Is there some specific reason you are using a 2 version old Internet Explorer?

The reason for IE8 is that my har disk had just been replaced by a new one and that's the version that was installed. I moved to IE10 and I am still seeing the same thing. By the way, this only seems to affect the Forum in Spanish, http://forums.adobe.com/community/international_forums/espanol?view=discussions

Another effect I'm getting is that I don't seem to be able to view all the messages in threads. For example, the first thread min this forums looked like this moments ago:

but on opening it, I can only see the opening post.

Try logging out, clearing cookies from forums.adobe.com and adobe.com and sign in again. You might be hitting the node that appears to be out of sync.
