.Hi John C.  It's been suggested that I post this here (already in the Lounge)

On Saturday something very odd happened. Not only did my avatar go AWOL, but so did my contribution history.

My user name log-in correctly shows my Adobe purchases history, so I haven't accidentally signed in under a different account name.

Something's definitely reset my forum profile! HELP!

Is there a way of salvaging it?  Thanks.

We should be able to fix that. Give me 6 minutes and then try signing out and back in.

Thanks!

I am having trouble locating your original account. Can you point me to a discussion that has your old info?

Thanks

From what I've seen, a second "ghost" account gets created.  This may have something to do with automatically logging into your account by stored cookie information, which normally works just fine.

In any case, you've done exactly the right thing by coming here and asking the admins to fix it.

Let's hope in the next version of the forum this won't be happening.
