Not able to search in PDF with customize query...

Hi All,

I am trying to search in PDF file but getting 0 result. The same query is working fine with *.htm,*.html,*.doc etc... type of documents.

I am using Adobe reader 8.2 on Windows Vista SP2. In SP2 Widows Desktop search version is 4.0.

Query I am using :
SELECT TOP 100 FROM systemindex WHERE CONTAINS(System.Search.Contents , <search_word>) AND ((CONTAINS(System.ItemType, '".PDF"') AND <path>

any suggestion?

Perhaps you aren't searching the correct PDF?

I jest, because you asked the question in the wrong place. You need to be asking in the forum where PDF issues are discussed. This is a forum where we discuss issues with the forums themselves.
