I see a lot of references to threads on an older version of the forum.

They are always in this format...

forums.adobe.com/thread/######

Since the links are broken (i.e. forums.adobe.com), how do you find old information?

I've tried ot use the ###### in a URL, but I cannot figure out the pattern.

Anyone?

You can search the webarchives to see if the URL is cached, if you are in luck you will get a copy. One such service is

https://archive.org/web/web.php

Paste the URL you want to search and it will find if a cached version is available.
