Postings begin with the heading

Hitherto, I just thought it was another strangeness of these here forums that you have to use the Tab or the mouse to get away from the heading and into writing the message.

But testing in another thread in another forum, I realized that you can actually change the heading. So actually, you can write whatever you wish there.

I wonder whether the nanny thing works there.

And now to posting the first post.

Don't know if you missed it in other threads, but this practice breaks

the only thing Jive offers for grouping emails. That wouldn't be too

bad, but for one other thing. It reverts email replies back to the

original subject and all hope of threading is lost.

I am replying to your subject, "This was meant to be the first post, but

is not" and my subject header actually contains:

Re: (Forum comments) This was meant to be the first post, but is not

Imagine that those parentheses are square brackets.
