That's because the title (Codec) is in English, another one of the bugs reported.

The script which fires when you click the Translate link only looks at the Subject, not the body. If the Subject ("Codec" here, also an English word) is deemed to be English, the script stops and throws the error, even though the body text needs translating. It has been reported as a bug.

 

We had this exact same situation with Jive, the previous Adobe forum software. It was reported back then but never fixed. Hopefully it will be this time around.

Hello.
A similar case occurs when translating from English to Japanese.
In this case, it seems that the correct answer in green has been inserted, or that it is happening because it is mixed with the “correct answerer” in Japanese.

 

The image is a capture of the error screen after selecting Japanese by pressing the Translate button. I hope this will also be helpful for improvement.

Language recognition seems to be automatic.
It seems that it cannot be judged correctly especially when the words of the language you want to translate are included in the title.
This is troublesome, but you can only copy the text and check it through another translation tool.
