I have significantly upgraded from the free Photoshop 3.2 to CS5 Design Premium. Sadly I am having enormous difficulty working out how to have a simple Library whereby I can view thumbnails off all photos in chronological order. Please, can anyone give me instructions..

Bridge is the browser used by Adobe for that purpose.  Comes with Photoshop.

I would read the Adobe Bridge Forum, and if you have any issues using it, that the Help File does not address, post your questions there. Lot of helpful people will step up, and help you out.

Good luck,

Congratulations on your upgrade.  That's quite a jump!

Are you on Windows?

Bridge is certainly one way, but don't discount the possibility of managing your photos directly in Windows Explorer.  It can certainly sort files any way you like.
