Why isn't there a forum for Extension Manager?

Why isn't there a forum for Extension Manager? I've seen questions about Extension

Manager sprinkled randomly through other products, and answers

copied from one forum to another. Why isn't there a forum for this product?

Sprinkled means little demand would be my

guess.

My original post was in another forum before I realized this forum existed and was a better location for the question. My original post indicated "randomly distributed" instead of "sprinkled".

What I'm trying to suggest is that there is room for improvement for this particular issue. It's up to Adobe to decide if there is value add in making the change.

>It's up to Adobe

In that case, since these are all user to user forums and not official Adobe support, you need to talk to Adobe

http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform - do be
sure to include all information, so they know what you mean

I think it's a good suggestion.

Extension Manager is a program which could use more attention than it

gets (both by Adobe and by users/developers)...

The question is: where the forum should reside (if it's created).

Oh, I agree with needing a sub-forum for Extension Manager. Yet from reading older posts if there is very little posts, such as for Extension Manager, then Adobe may not make a forum for it. It is up to the Adobe Gods to make it happen.

When creating new forums there are 2 main concerns:

1. Will it attract people posting on the subject the forum is intended for?

2. Will somebody 'take care' of whatever happens on that forum that

shouldn't happen there?

The first question is not easily answered except by trying it. The

second question is where people can make a difference. If somebody with

a good track record were to stand up and say "I will make sure abuse is

reported and stragglers get directed to the proper place" that would go

a long way towards addressing the concerns there are with all the

low-traffic forums.

Ask, and ye shall receive. Well done and quickly too. Hope that it proves beneficial to both posters and to those who just read the fora.

Thanks,
