If there is a considerable time between when you first started answering the thread and you conclude (ie you needed to do different work in between) it happens that you get disconnected.

It also happens occasionaly without pausing because of an unknown intermittant problem.

In both cases the solution is to copy your answer, cancel and push the reply link again. You can then paste your complete answer and push the post button.

The software that runs the forums is Jive. I've gotten the same message, but it's been a while. Sometimes it helps to use a different browser; other times wait a while and try again. Make sure you don't have any words that Jive will object to. Occasionally I have resorted to a screen shot of what I was trying to say and posted that.

My problem mostly is that I get disconnected because I’m in the middle of an answer and get some urgent task to do. Hours later I would expect any decent system to have me disconnected to save resources.
