After Effect/Premiere Pro 8k

Hello, 

I am looking for a windows configuration for a futur buy.
I will work on After Effect and Premiere Pro in 8k and i would also like to know if there are any laptop that will be enough powerfull for this use.

Unfortunately, 8k is extremely tough on hardware, especially when most laptops can barely handle even 1080p editing work without having to take out a home mortgage just to buy one system. Worse, newer and newer versions of video editing software are much more demanding on hardware even for low-rez video work than older software was.

As such, I will leave it to others to suggest one. If you can tell the community what your system budget is, that will narrow it down considerably.

A laptop can be good for the offline phase of an 8K workflow, but you'll likely want to move to a desktop for the online - but we're talking laptops in the $3,000 to $7,000 price range (Windows or Mac).  

Even though several cameras shoot 8K, it's common to use that in a 4K workflows (so edit settings are 4k and delivery settings are 4K) with the 8K source allowing for reframing shots while crafting the story.

Top of the line desktops will be more responsive than top of the line laptops, but as long as you are patient you could get by with a top of the line laptop.  If you go with a mid-range laptop ($3,000 to $4,000 price range), you can probably get by with proxies and and reduced frame size Previews and then being very, very, very patient when it comes to rendering full resolution effects.
