Best CPU choice for PP 2019!?

Hey guys, I already found a few posts on multicore discussions but most of them remained unclear.

I am going for a new system and are looking into AMD and Intel. i7 9700K or AMD 1950X or higher. That would be 8 vs 16 cores. What is the latest status in PP latest verion? What would be best to go for?
