Hello, i am to buy new pc, for editing with premiere. My target budget is in the focus of ryzen 7 3700 and 5600. They are very similar, the first has more cores, the secondo is newer tech and slightly faster, price is really similar. What would you suggest to go for?

Thanl you

Between the two, I am leaning towards the latter. Even though both of those CPUs perform well for the price, the 5600X performs better in single-threaded apps (this is where the front end of the Adobe Creative Cloud apps come in), while performing only slightly worse in multi-threaded apps (the renders and exports - the two areas where even professional editors can wait a little longer on in most cases).

And although I have both the 3700X and the 5600X, my main PC is running a 12-core 5900X. The 5600X is what I have put in a system that is about to be given to my brother, who has still been rocking a pre-built Dell with a now-eight-year-old Intel i7-4770 CPU.

yes i am not looking for super fast rendering or export, but for flawless work during edit. The only reason for which i doubt is because of the core/thread, that in 3700 are better, and i know that for premiere the more core/thread the better is

Another reason is because it is easy to find a 2nd hand 3700 and save more money instead of a 5600. So only if 5600 is better i am willing to pay those extra money

P.S. if you can suggest a different cpu in that range or simialr, also in 2 hand..welcome!
