Looking at laptops for video editing.

Does the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 no longer work for Premiere? I don't see it listed under Adobe's recommended graphics cards?

The only way that the GTX 1050 will fail to work properly in Premiere Pro is if the driver version that it is using is too old. Many big-name OEMs are notorious for failing or even refusing to update its OEM-specific driver to the minimum version that Premiere Pro 2020 requires in order to work at all.

It should be OK for a Quad Core but a GTX 1060 would not hurt.. If you have a 6 core CPU at GTX 1070 might be a better fit. You need a matched system. You don't want the CPU at 30% usage and the GPU at 90% usage. Nor would you want it the other way around.
