Dell Precision 5820 tower

64GB RAM

500GB NVMe System drive

2TB Working drive

Nvidia Quadro P2000 GFX card

Usage: Premiere/AE

I work in an office with 2 other producers with identical machines and we've all been having issues with GPU kernel crashes. Our usage is about 65% Premiere and 35% After Effects. My employer has offered to upgrade our GFX cards. We have a budget of around $700/card and are currently looking at the Quadro P4000. Does anyone have any insight as to the performance and stability of P4000 vs the P2000?  Or any other suggestions?

Thanks for any input!

Is there a reason you need Quadro?

I ask, because for some uses the Quadro cards are just over-priced gear. Some major colorists I know have dumped Quadros and gone to RTX Titans instead. And scream along in both Pr & Resolve. The 2000 series cards all supposedly can work with up to 12-bit output. The $700 looks like it could fit a couple of the 2000 Ti cards.
