My boss has given me a basically unlimited budget for our non-profit to purchase a fast-reliable hard drive or SSD system to use for our projects, also using heavy after effects. We have begun to produce 4k multi camera films, ranging from 400GB a project. Which, we'd like to find a hard drive / raid system to work off of and archive. We are thinking no less then 32TB of space, and only one computer will be using to access it. What are our options?

32 GB of SSD would be expensive. Your best bet is to use SATA hard drives in a RAID configuration. My system is internal but you can get an external RAID setup. You could get six 6 TB hard drives (36 TB total) or eight 4TB drives (32TB total). As you can tell from the video creating a RAID setup is not hard. It is easy on the Mac OS as well.
