Hello all,
I remember being able to use hardware acceleration (mercury) on an older version of premiere pro, but I unfortunately forgot which one. I have an old Nvidia GeForce GT 520MX graphics card, which won't allow that in the newer versions of the app.
Does anyone know which older version of premiere supports gpu acceleration given my setup? More info below.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'd hate to disappoint you, but Fermi GPUs such as yours are now completely obsolete. You see, Nvidia had completely discontinued all driver support for that 520 MX way back in 2018. As such, versions of Premiere Pro from 2019 onwards no longer support Fermi at all. Therefore, you're now permanently stuck with software-only rendering with that GPU.
Version CC2018 (12.x) was the very last version of Premiere Pro that supported Fermi GPUs for CUDA acceleration.
You can get 2018 here:

Hi there,
thanks for taking the time. Not sure my question was clear, so I'll repeat it:
Does anyone know which older version of premiere supports gpu acceleration given my setup?
cheers!

The last version that (technically) supported your particular GPU was version 12.1.2 (the very last point release of the CC 2018 version).
