I am looking for recommendations for GPU, memory, CPU, and pen tablet (heard about Wacom, currently using Lenovo ThinkPad touchscreen).  I frequently use Character Animator, After Effects, and Illustrator and have been encountering significant delays with processing.

Thank you

Not enough information.

Budget?

Current setup?

Generally for After Effects single clock speed is better that more cores, so i7 8700k at this time, RAM as much as you can, 16gb minimun, 32 optimal, GPU 1060 minimum, but as I said, I'm gonna need more info.

Thank you for your response!

I recently bought an iMac Pro with 8 cores, 64 gb memory, 3.2 GHz Intel Xeon W processor, and Radeon Pro Vega 64 16368 MB graphics card.  Character Animator works fast but not After Effects or Premiere Pro when using dynamic links.  AE has crashed a few times.  However, I usually have several dynamically linked scenes and illustrator images going at once.  Perhaps I'm overloading it.
