My friend, a Photographer from Europe, Cyprus

is in the market for buying a new Video Editing PC mid-range budget about 1500€ - 1900€.

Hardware (Windows 11 Pro) PC Specs for Adobe Premiere Pro 2024, ASUS MB, Intel & NVIDIA Only specs. He thinks build a system as below or buy an HP pre build ready PC like:

https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/p/1K03-2E4 // w/ RTX 3070 8GB is ok?

are these Specs ok for editing on max 8K 30 fps? What about the below DIY PC...

Even currently his Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 / 24.0, are based on 1080p, he wants video editing at 4K with ease and some maybe little future proof of 8K editing maybe on 30 fps.

as of todays facts a PC with:

Asus ProArt z790 Creators MB Wi-Fi

Intel i7 13700K or i7 14700K

NVIDIA RTX GeForce 4060 8GB is ok or go for a 4070 8GB, For the above budget?

DDR5 RAM 32GB or 64GB

SSD NVMe m.2 PCIe 4.0/5.0 1TB for C:/

SSD NVMe PCIe 4.0 2TB for current Premiere Pro Projects

SATA-3 HDD 8TB for backup and archiving Premiere Pro projects or backup the other SSD disks

Well is the HP prebuilt PC  - add Ram to 32GB... or the build DIY yourself ASUS PC capable for his projects?

Hello,

As for 8K/30fps

This is NOT express to have, maybe get DDR5 2 X 16GB=32GB and add another +2 sticks, a total of 4 x 16GB as 8K video haven't yet become common...

Please, reply the above hardware is OK for 4K video editing ...processing in other words is it OK with the RTX 4060 8GB or the 4070 or both are equally capable for 4K editing... ?

In this case, get the 4070 (which, BTW, has 12GB of VRAM, not 8GB). 8GB of VRAM may not be enough for 8k video editing, especially with more than a single layer of video and any number of GPU effects applied. Also, the 4060 is IMHO not powerful enough for 4k, especially with any number of GPU effects.
