Laptop advice for Premiere Pro Pro CC

I'm looking for some dumbed-down advice since I'm not super tech-savvy. I have owned a Lenovo Ideapad Z710 for several years now and mainly used it for photo editing. Now I want to get into video editing and am realizing this thing is useless.

I have Adobe CC suite and I received an error when trying to install Premiere. It told me I don't have the right Graphics/driver. My laptop has an Intel Core i7 and Nvidia GEForce sticker, so I assumed that meant both were loaded. But in searching my system, I can only locate the Intel HD Graphics 4600.

I will not be shooting in 4k, so I don't believe I need the most powerful. It is only for instructional YouTube videos. But I need to be able to add lots of media clips to edit.

In doing some research, it seems the Intel i7 should be fine, but I could also go with i9. The other specs I've found which I think I need are:

Windows 10 64 bit (which I have now)

16GB memory

Sound card: ?

4 or more processor cores

Storage: at least 256 GB hard dirve/interal SSD

I am expecting to spend up to $2000, hoping to keep it under $3000. And laptop is preferred since I dont have much space for a tower + monitor. Is there any thing that fits my budget and will run the programs without bogging it down?

Appreciate any help you can offer!
