Hii, I'm thinking about buying my first laptop for after effects. My budget is around €1000. I found already a few ones but I'm open for suggestions since I don't know anything about this.
-Macbook Pro 15inch Retina, Intel Core I7 2.5Ghz, 16Gb Ram, Iris Pro 1536 Graphics, 128Gb SSD but I have ICloud storage (I'm probably going too buy 2tb if I buy this macbook). If I buy this macbook, I'll probably buy a refurbished one because that fits better in my budget. But I just found out this one is from 2015 so that's why I'm not sure if I should buy it.
-HP Pavilion 15-cs3722nd laptop, 15.6 Inch, Inter Core I7, 1.3Ghz (max 3.0Ghz), 16Gb Ram, 1Tb SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050.
-HP Pavilion 15-ec1747nd Gaming Laptop, 15.6 Inch, Inter Core I7, 2.3Ghz (max 4Ghz), 16Gb Ram, 512Gb SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650.
-ASUS VivoBook 15 K512JP-BQ281T laptop, 15.6 Inch, Inter Core I7, 1.3Ghz (max 3.9Ghz), 16Gb Ram, 512Gb SSD, 1Tb HDD, NVIDIA GeForce MX330.
-Acer Aspire 7 A715-75G-77WN laptop, 15.6 Inch, Inter Core I7, 2.6Ghz (max 4.1Ghz), 16Gb Ram, 1Tb SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650.
-Lenovo Ideapad 5 81YH00DYMH laptop, 14 Inch, Inter Core I7, 1.3Ghz (max 3.9Ghz), 16Gb Ram, 512Gb SSD, NVIDIA GeForce MX350.
As I said before, I don't know anything about laptops so I hope someone can help me! I want a good one so after effects runs smooth but one that is affordable so around €1000.

Bob has a good link. In a nutshell: More RAM - is better for After Effects. 2 SSDs would be good, one for cache. Unlike Premiere Pro, the GPU is not as important as CPU, RAM, and HD.

Kevin
