Hello Community
I want to buy a laptop for edit / export video to Adobe Premiere Pro. Those videos should be most of the times less than a minute duration.
The source will mainly be a GoPro 11 Hero camera. The recorded video will be 4K high bitrate (many times at 120 fps) and the export resolution will be most of the times Full HD (but sometimes 4K also)
The target is to export the video in the lowest export time possible!
My issue is about the Laptop’s specs that I must prioritize and I am between 2 laptops with the above specs:
Laptop 1: CPU i7-11800H, GPU RTX 3050Ti 4GB, RAM 32GB, Storage 2TB SSD
Laptop 2: CPU i7-12650H, GPU RTX 3060 6GB, RAM 16GB, Storage 512GB SSD
I don’t know how Adobe Premiere Pro will utilize the resources of each laptop in order to decide for which one to go.
Will RAM 16GB be a bottleneck for the whole process? How important is RAM in comparison to CPU and GPU.
Will the i7-12650H in combination with the RTX 3060 6GB with RAM 16GB will export the video faster than the i7-11800H in combination with RTX 3050Ti with RAM 32GB?
I know that if I will go for the Laptop 2 with RAM 16GB I will be able to upgrade in the near future to 32GB. But I am trying to understand how to prioritize the specs as per software needs.
Thank you

You're stuck between two systems, each with at least one significant flaw, in this case. One system does not have enough VRAM (the first system) to handle much 4k work, and it is also significantly slower on the GPU than the second system. However, the second system's installed system RAM is kinda marginal for 4k.
