Premiere Pro runs better with GeForce rather than AMD Radon video cards. Are GeForce video cards made by for example MSI as good for Premiere Pro as are Nvidia video cards. Is it worth buying an MSI GeForce 3070 over a Nvidia GeForce 3070 depending on price alone?

My very first editing computer came with nvidia geforce 2 (WAY before GTX line) and it would only work with Premiere 6 (that is 6, not CS6) using one specific driver... with that driver, it worked well until I wanted more speed
I have built 3 computers since then, with PNY GTX 285 + MSI GTX 760 and now MSI GTX 1650
Other than my 1st card needing one specific driver to work with P6 I have never had any problems
I would search at either NewEgg or Amazon and check user ratings for the specific brand and model
Oh... and I just built a computer for my wife with ASUS GTX 1050 Ti and she is very happy

It is impossible to get a Nvidia GeForce 3070 for under $1000. Would a MSI GeForce 3070 be almost as good.

Both of our new computers use ASUS motherboards (mine last month her's this month) and her video card is ASUS
Other than that, I can't comment on those specific brands & models of video card... only that both brands are well known so you should be able to search to find ratings and user comments
