Hi All,

My first post so a quick intro first - I'm just getting into video and still editing, I've found the Adobe suites easier than all the freeware to use so I've taken Lightroom Classic, Photoshop etc package. I then went to run some 4k drone footage through my 2012 MBPro 16GB, and to my utter horror the fan started and then the video feed gave me about a frame/pm.

Soooo.. I'm investing in this: I'm taking the 128GB ram option, everything else is as listed below.

New 2020 27" Apple iMac 5K Retina/3.6Ghz 10-Core Intel i9/64GB RAM/3TB SSD Storage/T2/Radeon Pro 5700 XT with 16GB of GDDR6/10Gb/Windows 10/Office 2020/Blu-Ray Drive/7-port USB Hub/HDMI

I've seen a few posts on here regards the Radeon Pro 5700XT, mostly from last year and less so this year, so I'd like to ask if there has been an improvement in support/updates/issues etc? You will definitely lose me if you go Full-Techlish on me!

This isn't a casual purchase for me, it's going to blow all my savings but at least it's not on credit.

I really need to know if this will run Prem Pro? I don't mind the odd niggle, bearing in mind what I've been struggling with for the last two months I probably wouldn't notice to be honest. What I don't want to be doing is getting deep into software minutae; settings fine, any deeper and I'm lost. Terminal in Mac OS is the equivalent of Dutch-Martian to me.

Many Thanks,

SM
