I'm trying to build a desktop to run Premiere Pro (4K).  I just switched to it from years of using Premiere Elements.  This HP configuration below looks a bit short of CPU and other specs at Puget, but the price is right at $1600.  I priced a Dell and Lenovo at about $4,000 which seems high, though met Puget specs.  I'd like to find something closer to $2,000 but the jump from below specs to $4,000 seems to be all I can find.  Any suggestions?

  • AMD Ryzen™ 7 5700G (3.8 GHz up to 4.6 GHz, 16 MB L3 cache, 8 cores, 16 threads)
  • 32 GB DDR4-3200 RAM (2 x 16 GB)
  • 1 TB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
  • 2 TB 7200 rpm SATA HDD
  • NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3060 Ti (8 GB GDDR6 dedicated) with LHR, Display Connectors: DP*3, HDMI*1

The 7200 RPM dive should only be used for backups (or exports if you aren't in a hurry).
