Hello I am going to buy the follow laptop for Premier Pro Multicamera project 4K 60fps (larg files more than 600GB). And I must use laptop because for my work I travel.
laptop 17,3” Recoil i9 8 Core i9-11900K 16MB cache with DDR4 Corsair 2666MHz 64GB Ram, with RTX 3080 RAM Video 16GB
I can put/use 4 SSD NVMe but only 1 of the 4 NVMe can be 7000 MB/R 5000 MB/W (ej Samsung 980 PRO), because the laptop support the other 3 ssd drive units maximum 3500MB/W 3300MB/R (ej other 3 Samsung 970 evo),
I am working daily with files more than 500GB which of the 2 option can be better and spped the work?
Option 1:
Or option 2:
In this way I can use these 2 Samsung 970 EVO (3500MB/R 3300MB/W) in RAID 0 (tot 4TB) for the save, work, editing and exporting the big files videos (media, projects, preview, exports, ecc). PD it is not a problem the reduce of the security due to the Raid 0 because I always have doble copy back up.
What configuration is better? Also I don't know if it is quickest Raid 0 with 2 NVMe of 3500-3300MB/S or only 1 NVMe but of 7000-5000MB/S
I hope you can help me, and sorry for my English that it is not very good...

The biggest question is: Do you really need a RAID 0 when using NVMe disks?
RAID 0 was the big thing before SATA SSD´s came and when NVMe sticks came along the need for RAID 0 seemed to die since they have great performance. That´s why i am interseted in what made you wanting to raid them now.
Are the source files uncompressed 10-bit 4K or compressed 10-bit 4K, 8-bit 4K? How many cameras?
