Recommendations for laptop

New Here ,
Apr 07, 2022 Apr 07, 2022

Hi guys.

I'm looking for a great laptop to run Adobe premiere on.

My budget is quite large because I want it to last for years and run great. I'm thinking $3500 ish.

I looked at Dell xps 15, 9510 but I was told it's a glossy screen and that I would want a mat one.

Any recommendations?

That's an almost 5 year old recommendation.

Any 2022'ers?😊

Intel's CPUs with iGPU might be your best bet. It has been stated the brand new laptops from Intel can encode and decode H.264/265 better than Nvenc.  The video below demonstrates the benefits of Nvenc and Quick Sync. It is good to have both. I used a desktop PC but the same would apply to a laptop.

I have done a few videos about Intel's Quick Sync but you can now use your GPU for rendering H.264/H.265 with the newest version of Premiere Pro. Monetized links below Resolve https://amzn.to/3NcL1zP Adobe CC 1 year https://amzn.to/3Da0qMN
