hello

i find out that there are lots of opion for buy at cheap price refurbished server

Generally they have 3-4 years old hardware, most of the time ddr3 as ram

Processors are older and slower than the one we have now, but can be used multiple, 2 or more

i wonder if that could be a good alternative to a ryzen 3600 3700 which i was planning to buy for my video editing

I edit xt3 file 4k

thanks

You need to provide specific specifications.

Problem is that it won't work well, as configured: That system's hardware is now more than 9 years old - in fact, almost 10 years old - to begin with. Worse, that system's Quadro FX 1800 is now archaic and completely obsolete (in fact, its GPU dates all the way back to the GeForce 9600 GT of 2007), with no driver updates at all whatsoever after the year 2016. Thus, MPE in newer versions of Premiere Pro will become permanently locked to the software-only mode, which will take far longer to render than if that system had a newer, supported GPU to begin with.

of course i was only refering to cpu/ram. Each of these old server would require a new graphic card, which i i mmagine could be a gtx 1070
