Guten Tag, ich habe derzeit einen Mac Mini mit 32 GB RAM bei dem die Grafikkarte in der Bearbeitung mit Lightroom u. Photoshop Probleme macht. Das gerät ist 6 Jahre alt. Ich will mir einen Mac Studio M2 Max, 32 GB Ram, 12 -Core CPU, 30-Core GPU, 16-Core Neural engine kaufen. Reicht das für die Bearbeitung in Photoshop? Mit der Bitte um Nachricht.

I second Warren. You see, Intel Skylake CPUs and their derivatives have not aged well at all when it comes to performance in Premiere Pro. Add to that that Intel had already placed the iGPU in all 10th-Gen and earlier CPUs into "legacy" support status, which means that compatibility problems wouldn't be fixed at all while essentially only critical security updates would continue.

As a reminder just how far even the i7-8700B has fallen, its performance with only its integrated graphics failed to even match, let alone surpass, an original Apple Silicon M1 chip which came out in 2020 while consuming far more electrical power than any Apple Silicon CPU.

Assuming you have the Mac mini (2018), you will see a significant performance improvement in Photoshop and Lightroom with the Mac Studio M2 Max.

That configuration should be quite good for most image editing in Photoshop and Lightroom. It will also work well with the latest AI image editing features. It is more powerful than what I use. The only reason to buy a higher Mac than that would be for editing unusually large images regularly.
