I have a new ASUS StudioBook. It has two M.2 NVMe slots. I also have two new NVMe SSDs to upgrade it:
1. A 1T Samsung 970 Pro, and
2. A 1T Samsung 970 EVO Plus.
So the question is: Which one should be for OS and apps, and which one for media files?
They both read at 3,500. The EVO Plus writes faster than the Pro (3,300 vs 2,500). The Pro is more durable. Puget builds systems with the Pro for the OS/Apps drive and the Plus for the media drive.
Anyone here have a different idea? Remember, I already own both, so price isn't a factor. I just want to know how best to use them.
Have something to add?
