Will 2019 MacBook Pro work with Adobe CC apps?

I tried downloading Adobe InDesign CC app on my MacBook Air and found out it's too old to run InDesign. My laptop is on MacOS Big Sur and can't be updated to a later operating system anymore. (Doesn't really have enough memory anyway and it's an old computer).

I'm on a very tight budget but need to be able to run InDesign mostly for documents, layouts, etc. Will a refurbished 2019 MacBook Pro work? It doesn't have the latest M series core processors, but does have retina display, 16GB memory, 512GB storage, 4GB video card and i9 processor.  I don't want something that won't work in a year, but I'm happy if I can get 3 years of good use out of a refurbished model. At that point I may be able to afford a new one.

Thanks for your help.

That MBP should be able to run up to Sequoia so you should be fine for awhile. Whether it gets 3 years will depend on how technology grows. The next Mac OS is rumored right now to be M* chips only and will no longer support Intel. So if there's a possibility to grab a M1 vs. the Intel I would try to go for that to be a little more secure in case software vendors decide to follow Apple and drop latest version support for Intel.

Looking at newer used Mac laptops I'm having a harder time finding inexpensive ones compared to new machines. For instance a M4 Macbook Air 13" is going for about $850 with 16gb and 256GB storage which would be faster than that Intel.

Thanks! I can get the late 2019 16" MBP model for around $500. The cheapest M series I can find used is a 2022  Macbook Air 13" with M2 chip, 8gb RAM and 512 GB storage on Amazon for $719. I think Adobe apps work best on 16 gb so maybe this isn't an option?
