Will GeForce GTX 1050 Ti work with current CC apps?

About six months ago I upgraded my old i7 machine (HP EliteDesk 800 G1, 32 GB RAM) from Windows 7 to Windows 10. For a long time before doing that I had to avoid any CC app updates because of compatibility. When I did the upgrade to Windows 10 and updated all the CC apps I was flagged by Photoshop and Premiere Pro that the GPU was too old. I got lucky and found that one GPU existed that would still work in my machine that satisfied the CC apps: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.

After installing that GPU six months ago all has been working flawlessly. I kept CC updates disabled and avoided manual updates because I didn't know how far into the future that GPU would still be adequate.

I want to now attempt to update all CC apps again. Yes, I can and will do a backup image of the machine first in case there are any issues after the updates, but I'd like to avoid restoring the system from an image.

I haven't been able to find a current list of approved GPUs for Photoshop and Premiere Pro. I'd like to find those lists so I can see if my GPU is still on it or not -- unless I'm told here that even if it's no longer on the lists I should attempt it anyway and if I don't get any complaints from Photoshop or Premiere after the updates I'll probably be fine for a while longer.

It should, but make sure to use a Studio Driver from NVIDIA (NOT the Game Driver), but not the latest version - it has issues with Premiere Pro.

Premiere Pro might struggle a bit if you only have 2 GB VRAM:

Thanks for the heads-up about the drivers.

I currently have Studio 537.42 WHQL Sept 2023 driver version 31.0.15.3742, which I installed with the upgrades I did about six months ago.

I guess I'll stay with that for a while.

The NVIDIA website shows only their current driver as far as I can cell: Studio 551.62 WHQL Feb 2024.

I don't see where they provide access to previous drivers but I guess I'm good with the one I got in Sept, unless you say otherwise.

So I assume I should update to Studio 551.23 Jan 24 2024, skip over Studio 551.61 Feb 22 2024, and wait for the next update after that to come out.
