Windows configuration for after effects

Hi, all I have been meaning to get started with AE for a while now but my current laptop won't support it( i5, NVIDIA MX150, 1 TB, 8 GB RAM). I was seeking to get some help a new system, I have heard more pros over a desktop due to their longevity. I want to know what minimum configuration is required for adobe after effects( including 3d animation) along with illustrator, dimension to work on it. I am already faacing a lot of speed issues in my laptop, so I need someething that works smoothly doesn't hang and what would be a must included configuration for after effects? Also my budget is of i7 not i9, will that be a problem?

thank you for this, I was wondering if you know how the NVIDIA GEFORCE 2000 SERIES work with after effects?

also if any suggestion on how dell alienware cpu is for after effects, illustrator and dimension and cinema 4d to work on?
