When I only listen to this ad, it seems very informative...
but when I watch it, I can't help but think 'this is dumb'.

pretty well shot and lit and edited and tight commercial... well done... good talent shots, it really is very well made. the howl of dog thru me a little ( sounded more like a coyote than a beagle .. hehe...) but its well made.. pretty big budget.
dog in tubes like hampster etc ? i dont know.. maybe tells the story...
some people treat their pets a bit over the line.. like put sweaters on them in winter, boots, stuff like that.. so maybe to those types it rings a bell.. ?? heartworm ? YIKES ! ...buy this DRUG AND PROTECT YOU DOG !....
I agree its stupid but is at least well done !
hehe...

True...
Staring longingly at the 'out of reach' fire hydrant is a little weird.

True again.

Having lived in an area where fleas WERE a big issue, and having Bulldogs, it sort of hits home with me. Now, I love the part where the "bubble dog" sees the squirrel.
I think that the dancers above are a dumber ad, but maybe that is just me?

Never did see the Sopranos, but I did hear many good things about it, and that includes a lot of tech and production people. Maybe it would be worth my while to buy the full DVD set? Of course I still have a few of those, that I have not watched yet.

That's what I did, and it was worth the time / money.
They may be available on-demand or PPV.
I was a big fan of "Six Feet Under" as well.

I will check out Amazon (think that I still have credit there), and see what I can put together.
Thanks,

PS - I just ran down through some recent thread in the PrPro Forum, and it looks like you got about six Corrects in a row! Great work.

Joe,
Not dumb luck. Hard work. We all know what it takes to answer some of these. You have a very nice points to posts ratio. It indicates a certain quality to your answers.
By the way Bill, I second the Sopranos suggestion. Just save them for watching on planes instead of those highly edited movies they show you.

Hey, with Joe and Steven making recs., I need to get this done!

I should warn you that there is a lot of profanity, violence, nudity and sex, so maybe hotel rooms, not planes. Just realized that unless you are in first class in a private little area, watching sex acts on your laptop could be miscontrued.

i never saw any sopranos stuff...only dailies...
let me know if you see a credit for me 2nd half of first season...
a lot of times they dont remember to do it
edit:
personally I think they should make my name much bigger and put blinking lights around it, sorta like the pink panther opening credits...

I'll admit it up front... a smell is a pretty tough thing to sell on TV.
Another 'high production value' dumbad?

Fuzzy,
That vid is no longer available. Glad that I missed that one, though Joe seemed to have liked it. My imagination just runs wild, then swerves into the gutter.

Glad that commercial was eventually banned, 'cos it had been neither mentally nor environmentally friendly...
