I switched over...

I switched over to DaVinci Resolve a while back and absolutely love it.

There's also AVID and Lightworks as options, both having been used in Hollywood for decades.

Hitfilm is kind of a PP clone, as least GUI-wise.  I don't know about the underlying code and how well it works.

Well, I want a professional video editing software... that actually works.

I'm going to give Adobe a chance, here, by rolling back every software I use to its 2018 version.

But on a subscription, I should have to do that. NOBODY should have to do that.

I don't know why they're ruining their software and blaming it on people's computers, or blaming it on Windows, or Microsoft, or Mac, etc.

Adobe has nobody to blame but themselves for this 2019 absolute dumpster fire of software "updates".

We all do, Jeffery.  If you find that one option isn't working, you may need to try another.

Reasonable advice.

However, I'm using Adobe Creative Cloud as a subscription, so they need to actually provide me with what I paid for: software that works.

Anything less than fully functional software from Adobe is a scam.

Maybe so.

But how does that help?

I'm trying to find out if it's settings, file corruption issues, etc.

If it's something I can fix, I have no reason to change to a different company's products.

However, if there's no solution and the product doesn't even do the most basic stuff it was designed for no matter what I do on my end, yeah it's going to be time for me to change to a different company's products. I'll have no choice if the issues I'm having are not fixable.
