My main profile music videos. And I do my job - pretty good, 50+ million(50000000) views on YouTube, is not a special case for my works.

So about professionals Terri Stevens​​ - many-many years my team(professional editors) use FCP-7, but Apple going mad and create FCP-X. We migrate to Premiere Pro. And we have many issues... Many...Many...Many...Many...Many...

But we stay with Premiere Pro and start work with Avid Media Composer for a big projects, 7 minutes+ (timeline).

We use Mac Pro (trash can D700) + thunderbolt GPU, Mac Pro 5.1(GTX980ti web drivers) & MacBooks Pro 2011 CTO, MacBooks Pro 2016/2017 BTO.

So... All software products from Autodesk, Avid, Blackmagic runs perfect.....

But products from Adobe - glitch....

So... who is professionals?????? and who amateurs??? Terri Stevens

Hi Stan,

First I am sorry you are having so many problems with Premiere. As I said the other day, Premiere Pro is not my specialist area and so I cannot comment with any authority on the issues you guys are having.

The reason I commented to your forum was because I was Moderating on Saturday and a number of posters felt we were attempting to censor their posts. I felt it important to tell everyone that we don't do that and you can say whatever you wish even if it is critical of Adobe. What we can't always permit is links to downloadable executables as this can be dangerous and we have a duty to forum users to protect them. I didn't block the link in question, but whichever moderator did was exercising their judgement. Similarly links to sites for self promotion is also a grey area as we cannot vouch for the legitimacy of the content.

I'm a professional Photoshop user and it is certainly true that we get more problems with Macs than Pcs on our forum. Ten years ago all the computers in our office were Macs, today they are all Pcs. I think the problem is the limited hardware used by Macs whereas there are hundreds of third party components for the PC. Drivers get updated sometimes bi-weekly whereas on a Mac you need to wait for OSX updates and so Mac users generally are always playing catch-up.

Video editing is even more demanding than photo-editing and so hardware compatibility becomes even more crucial. I don't know the issues with Premiere Pro but Adobe did put out a warning about Sierra compatibility-do you have the opportunity to try Premiere Pro under El Capitan on a different machine?

Anyhow hopefully your issues will be resolved in the next update.
