Is there any way to opt out of the new forum UI? Its impossible to browse and seeems to be designed to obfucate sub forums.

As of today, 30 September 2019, some major updates to the forum software have been applied, and it's not as bad as it was to start. It does have "sticky" "Latest" sort option now, which sorts to  the most recent replies irregardless of OP post date, thank Heavens!

 

It still wants to "nest" replies unless you use the blue Reply button clear up at the original post. So it's better than it was, but has quite a ways to go. They are clearly working on it. Patience is NOT my strongest character trait, however, so I get frustrated also. Including shot off some detailed assesments of the many horrid "features" of the forum software when it first ... debuted.
