I don't even use a Mac but I feel terrible for the people that spent
thousands of dollars on a machine only to be left behind. "Out of your
hands" doesn't mean Apple told you to stop. It definitely means you were
told from up higher in your company not to "waste resources" on Macs
without the M1 chip. I use premier and after effects, but the way your
company treats it's users (The people that keep it afloat) I won't be
surprised when everyone jumps ship when they can. Even Linus himself said
he's using Adobe software ONLY because he has to. As soon as those
competitors get better.....tick tock tick tock...

Hi Jordan,
Thanks for the message.
"Out of your hands" doesn't mean Apple told you to stop.
Not sure where you are getting your information. As far as I know, Apple deprecated support for OpenCL on macOS 10.14. The current version of macOS is 11.x. Check out this article. https://arstechnica.com/features/2018/09/macos-10-14-mojave-the-ars-technica-review/12/

I'm in support trying to help people solve techincal issues. Not sure how you'd like the support guy to respond. If you have complaints about the product, make them here please: Premiere Pro User Voice.
So since the thread is not related to the original post, I'm moving this off topic thread to the Video Lounge.
Thanks,
Kevin
