The Adobe staff should be well aware that people still need to capture old VHS, Mini DV and HDV tapes. We still need full Firewire support in 2021. Adobe should know many people still use the Old Legacy Titling system and sill need to create DVD/Blu-ray discs.
ADOBE does not care what the users want. They only care what the programmers want.
