I had high hopes for Rush being an Premier "light" but it hasn't turned out that way. I wanted something better than Elements but not as crazy as Premier Pro and the high cost. Since the initial Rush release in October there have only been three very minor (1.0.x) updates none of which I can see have improved anything. Critical features are still missing like speed control (slow motion/speed up) and the performance is awful. I have a gen 7 i5 with 16GB of RAM and the application is stuttering all over the place almost making it unusable.
I'm normally a very positive person and rarely wright negative reviews but this whole experience has been really disappointing to me. I was willing to put up with missing features and bugs in the beginning but almost 6 months later nothing has changed. I don't know how you would expect people to pay $10 a month for subscription software when its not being updated at all. There are many cheaper and even free alternatives out there at exceed this products abilities and performance.
I guess i'll have to go back to Elements or HitFilm Express...
