Why Adobe Premiere Pro still doesn't work properly?

Once again I opened Premiere Pro and faced another issue. I don't even want to describe the issue, I want to stress out how Davinci Resolve (other editing software I'm using) has a much better engine, and how I do not understand how Adobe still has video editing software with endless issues.

The software is good, except it never works properly.

Not even a good rant! (I've posted truly epic rants here myself, btw ... )

I work with/for/teach pro colorists. So I'm in Resolve daily, and on the LGG and BlackMagic forums. And see all the similar posts these days by Resolve users wanting to know why 18.x is so freaking buggy, does anyone know a stable version of Resolve, that sort of thing.

If one works better on your kit, fine. Both work pretty good for the vast majority of their users. But screw up for some.

And for most of the users where it is screwing up, no matter which app ... giving the details of what is in use, what you're doing, and what happens gets the situation handled. For some, it won't. Ah well.

Resolve is buggier than before, but not even close to Premiere in my experience. I guess both are rushing to implement new AI features and that results in bugs.

BlackMagic is pursuing the Adobe dream of being one app for all OS, hardware, media, and workflows. I think that inherently has problems. Every new Resolve release is buggier than before.

But again, for both apps most users are doing fine, some hammered. Another person with a near identical desktop to mine was on here with sucking performance in Premiere. Mine is actually pretty awesome right now. Why is his so screwed up? No clue.

And that difficulty in being able to troubleshoot bugs me.

Even my 4 year old laptop is fine with Pr24.x. Resolve is such a dog on that rig I took it off. On other similar laptops Resolve runs fine. Why? Wish I knew.

I found the solution that always works. Go to the Davinci Resolve page, download the software, find out that life can be beautiful, and never look back. It works every time. I'm currently using this Premiere thing just because of the Autopod, and even with that it doesn't pay off.
