I can't think of any reason.  I just finished cutting my first paid project in Resolve.  Even without the new version 15 updates, it was a good experience.  I think with the new features in Resolve 15, Adobe has fallen so far behind the curve, they'll never catch up for professional users.

What's the learning curve, though?  This is mostly what's putting me off at this point!

I had some difficulty and some frustrations at first.  My solution was to take a step back and approach Resolve as if I'd never editing anything before.  Instead of trying to work the way I was accustomed to working in PP, I 'forgot' what I knew and started fresh.

The following helped immensely.
