My submission is becoming more modern and unusual, 3D stuff -- now the list of words does not fit, and I can not use the ones presented to match my art. The reviewer gives the wrong title and subject. For example, if I use red, the list of words refers to Christmas, which is not appropriate for my submission. I have changed the terms and written in more of my own. HELP! My last rejection is a good example. S Joan

I have just opened my new Photoshop apps and find many new processes – not all of them easier or fun. I would prefer the oldest edition of Photoshop now available. Would that be PS18 or 19? How shall I set my preferences including color? I used to magic-select highlights and run the exposure slide to mute white in the highlights. Nice to see you on the forum. Hello vickim68445047, So many ways to create fur for various purposes. Just as an experiment, I draw a half-page of hair, fur, etc. then select a rectangle and go to Edit select "define pattern" for bucket fill. I fill spaces selected from one of these patterns, add my own sketching and lighting and save four or five patterns.
Under edit, you will find define the pattern. I will also use many brush and stamp tools for variety. Let me know how you like this method. Best regards, JH

Hello derekitpro, I am sorry about the delay in sending you my reply, the entire systems of Adobe are undergoing repair and change. That is never easy or painless.
As for your beautiful and delicate flower, It is perhaps as you guessed. Too many offerings that are nearly the same and only the best will be accepted. It must be perfectly exposed and sharp without any messy lines or intruding ones. So I did take the liberty of changing areas of exposure in the picture you sent and I also cropped it. I did this to merely present you a different view of the same work. I found everything but the white flower mostly out of focus so I wanted to take that a step further and only leave the focus on the white flower. I cut out part of the background since it was a distraction as was the highlighted areas. All of these things if left in the picture are reasons for rejection. Please take the time to look at similar works on the Adobe Stock website and compare them to your work. I believe you will improve even more if you do a search at 100-200% enlargement of every picture you submit to the Adobe Stock Review. Also, take the time to read and understand the tips and information set forth for stock contributors. I leave you a link here. Best wishes, JH

Hello Munzen,
When you photograph a well-known place like this one, you must be sure there are no recognizable issues like the name of a street, symbol on buildings or arches and so forth. Also, be sure there are no watermarks or signatures. Look at your work at 100 -200 % enlargement to see if you left something showing. The other possibility is that you named the place in the title. Careful with word selection also. Here is an additional bit of information for your understanding about this reason for rejection. Best wishes, JH
Non-compliant:
Reasons content is rejected at Adobe Stock The following is a quote for non-compliant:
"This reason means that your content doesn’t comply with our Contributor Agreement. Content may be non-compliant due to watermarks, inappropriate or irrelevant keywords or image titles, or questionable, or defamatory content. Your file is also rejected as non-compliant if you receive a reminder to submit a model or property release or resolve a problem with a release, and you resubmit the file without addressing the release issue."

Hello IMGP0040,
Technical reasons are in several areas of concern. I enjoy the emotion and poetic feel of this work. I can smell the Plumeria - my favorite. Lighting and clarity are two important things to consider for this delicate offering.
As a buyer, I want to see the flower in better light and exposure might be the area to work. I do not want the feature to be blurry. The branches should be more clear also. The hazy background might be okay for the mood. It depends on the reviewer.
You will improve as you learn. Read the guidelines Adobe has set forth for stock contributors. See the information I have placed in this reply to research more on Technical Problems. Then look at your work at 100 -200 % enlargement and see if you can discover the ones the reviewer rejected the work. Best regards, JH
Technical problems can be technical flaws other than focus, exposure, or artifacts, which are usually stated in the reply. These can include white balance, contrast, saturation, chromatic abrasion, and general composition. Also, consider leaving a designer room to add their own text or objects. In the case of chromatic abrasion, there might be color fringes around the edges of the image. More details about Technical Issues found at - Quality and technical issues rejected at Adobe Stock.

Dear Gulashenko, I am happy to tell you that there are many free tutorials posted by Adobe. The best thing you can do as a beginner is to read the Adobe tutorials and guidelines supplied by Adobe for their customers. Start here:

The graphic look you posted is made in several ways. One layer is the floral pattern that shows through the layer that is the overlaying flat surface. Your cutout can be done with the eraser tool or selection tool to make the outline of the area you will delete. Practice this a few times before using it on the final work.
The more you can teach yourself by watching the tutorials, the better you will improve and remember.
Regards, JH

Hello, rachel swift, Did you put the layers together or is the gradient layer still by its self? If it is still not part of the other layers, try changing the % gradient layer to less than 100%. Best wishes, JH

Hi dydes57085107, When I open this posted photograph, I read the size at 64.2 159.214 inches wide 77 inches high res only 42.779 If you are able to resave this at a higher resolution how far can you enlarge it? Free transform might let you do it inside the current work-frame. Someone here might know the exact formula you need. Best always, JH

Hello AratLK23884913, Hello, I too enjoy playing around with light and droplets. Sorry to say that there are soooo many of these in the Adobe Stock. So, too many of these is a reason for rejection. Specific to these you posted, the drops on a leaf has a totally unsharp foreground. Focus! If you want your work to be accepted, keep it simple and clean. What might a buyer use the top black and white stock pictures for? Adobe rarely accepts B & W offerings since a customer can change a colored photo and change to B & W if they want one. If the top picture is changed to sharp contrast and color added, it might be accepted. Take a look at more replies to this question posted to the right of this message. Best of luck with the next offering. JH

Maximom, I love the moss, one of my favorite things in our wet country of Oregon. I think this larger picture is just right to make it a lot smaller. If the original is say 7"X 7" reduce to 3"X3" and see if that works. You can free transform to a larger or angled size. I often copy a patch of the moss and then transform it. This is a long-form of moss, so don't compact it too much. You can also copy this picture, paste it on another layer, and then fiddle with it with filters and such. Have fun with it. Best always, JH

Hello Mayckond97237626, Most of us love the product we use the most. Everything I want to make book covers is within Photoshop. I am an illustrator so I draw all of the book cover content. Any of the programs, Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop are more than enough to do a book cover. Be sure to have a plan, look at covers now trending and then create something you love. Kindle Publishing has a book cover template you might look at. Very easy to use and free. Good luck! JH Most of everything you will need can be found in Photoshop. Good Luck! JH

1. Sans serif type for body copy. It is far easier to read. 2. Number the replies so that they may be referenced in a reply 3. Eliminate one-line Reply version 4. Personal message option is a must 5. Need full image display when composing a response to an inquiry 6. Correct the image cropping in the My Profile section and display it prior to Enter. 7. Unhide the Edit option in posts. 8. That row of Badges: Define or delete them. Purpose? Seems like they have zero value. 9. NEW: A time-sensitive (2 week) automatic email mechanism sent by Adobe to remind OP’s to respond post a CORRECT their problem has been solved. 10. The @ to reference a Forum member in a post does not seem to be working. We need it. In addition, what was the reason for eliminating the Helpful option? And what was wrong with the single point system?
