Yup, you bet I am really asking what you mean because before responding to your post the first time I did open Premiere, type with the Text tool and text appeared with no issue. These are user-to-user forums and I help out where I can, but it doesn't mean that I see every single post about every single problem. Also, whoever moderated your post might not even work for Adobe as again, these are user-to-user forums; someone removing profanity (which is against the community guidelines) has nothing to do with the development team.
If you want to file a bug that will actually get noticed by the team, you can do that when making a new post, but it's also your responsibiltiy to provide as much clear detail as possible so the problem can be reproduced by the team. The fact that I was able to write text with no issue proves that it's not a global problem, which is why it's so important to offer as much detail as possible. If the problem can't be reproduced, it can't be fixed. People too easily think a problem they're having should have been caught before it was released, but unfortunately, software development is insanely complicated and you're one of millions of users worldwide on one of millions of random configurations of hardware, software, OS, and preferences. Perhaps the other posts you mentioned were bug reports with useful details and perhaps they were not; I'm addressing only this post.
