Good morning, I need your help to solve the following issue.

When putting the digital signature I receive the following error which translated means:

"Error during the verification of the signature.

An error occurred during the validation:

Error in the crittography library.

Error code: 0x2726"

And finally the signature is invalid.

I need a quick help please.

Thank you for your support.

Kind regards.

Roberto De Luca

Hi Roberto,

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are getting error when trying to verfiy a signature, is that correct?

Try creating a new digital ID using the steps given in the following help document and try again: Digital IDs in Acrobat

Also, let us know the dot version of Acrobat or Reader and the operating system installed on the machine? You may refer to the steps given in this link on how to check the version: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html

Let us know if you need any help.

Hi Shivam,

thanks for the information.

The e-signature giving error is generated with a QES (qualified certified for e-signature) from D-Trust.

The aim of the QES was to prove the validity also to third persons without making any action on the Adobe, moreover the certificate is present in the list of Adobe (TL Browser).

What does the Error code 0x2726 mean?

Thanks for your support.

Regards.

Roberto.
