Form Drop Down answer visible in Browser but not in Acrobat Reader

We use a form and the values in drop down menus are only visible if the file is opended in a browser such as chrome. If I open the file in Adobe Acrobat DC or Reader DC, there is no value in the Drop Downs anymore. Text field data is saved and displayed, no worries there.

Any tips?

It seems to be an issue when the form is filled on an iPad. Workst fine on PC, so that's what we'll stick with. Thanks for the help.

Does it work if you change the value of the drop-down in Acrobat (or Reader), then save the file, close it and re-open it? If so, the issue is with the way Chrome's PDF plugin fills in the form fields (or saves the file).
