Trying to install Adobe Acrobat Reader on MacBook Air. Keep getting the message that installation cannot be completed because a newer version exists in the installation area. Told to contact support. Help

Please check the trash for any Adobe Acrobat related file and try emptying the trash and try again to install the application.

 

If it still doesn't work, please run the Acrobat Cleaner tool as suggested by try67, reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the link https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
